Materials needed
- Solid-color t-shirt
- Fabric paint
- Paper plate
- Newspaper
- A child’s hand
- Paint pen
How to
- Have your child wear old clothing.
- Lay newspaper on a table.
- Put a piece of cardboard inside a clean solid-color t-shirt.
- Pour a small amount of paint onto a paper plate.
- Have your child dip his/her hand onto the plate.
- Then carefully place your child’s hand on the tee shirt
- Make as many hand prints as you like on the front of the shirt.
- When the shirt is dry, help your child use a fabric pen to make faces, beaks, legs and feet
