SEPTEMBER 21 – International day of peace, miniature golf day
The International day of peace is also know as World Peace Day. It is specifically dedicated to the absence of war. The day is started with the ringing of the the "Peace Bell" at UN Headquarters. The bell is cast from coins donated by children from all continents. Learn to say peace in many languages.
Miniature golf is the perfect family outing for little ones. The equipment is just the right size, and the course is full of fun things to look at as you move from hole to hole – each with a different theme. Take the whole family on a day or night of miniature golfing. For a listing of courses nationwide go to this terrific directory of Miniature Golf Courses by state.
